There are two types of government grant schemes to support the costs of installing electric vehicle charge points. One for businesses and one for homes.
For businesses, we assist in accessing the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS). The WCS is a government voucher-based scheme designed to provide eligible applicants with support towards up-front costs of the purchase and installation of EV charge points. It contributes £350 for each socket installed up to a maximum of £7,000 which equates to 10 dual chargers (20 sockets) across all sites for each application.

For homes, we assist in accessing the Electric Vehicle Home Charge Scheme (EVHS). The EVHS is a government voucher-based scheme designed to help owners of plug-in vehicles with support towards up-front costs of the purchase and installation of home chargers by contributing a £350 grant. With the available grant deducted, a client pays between £500 to £800 for a typical installation. To receive the EVHS funding you will need to provide evidence of electric vehicle ownership or access to an electric vehicle. You will need off-street parking or a garage attached to the home premises. For more details please review the OLEV Home Charge Scheme guidance to check your requirements meet the eligibility criteria.
